The National Bank of Moldova has initiated the preparation of an Executive Committee decision to amend the Instruction on reporting by non-bank credit organisations, aiming to update reporting requirements linked to ownership transparency. The project is driven by amendments to Article 23(4)(b) of Law No. 1/2018 on non-bank credit organisations introduced by Law No. 229/2025. The draft would update the report in Annex 10 of the Instruction (submitted to ensure transparency of entities’ ownership structure) and introduce clarifications on how to complete certain reports, based on observations from entities’ reporting practices. Recommendations and proposals can be submitted until 30 March 2026.
