The Superintendency of Banks of the Dominican Republic announced that it received the Sustainability 3Rs Diamond Mention after an external audit found 100% compliance with the certification criteria. It is the first Dominican public-sector institution to receive the certifier’s highest recognition and also secured Gold certification for the third consecutive year. The audit assessed the effectiveness and maturity of the authority’s environmental management system, including its arrangements for waste, energy and water management, air quality, health and safety, and social responsibility. The Diamond category recognizes organizations that exceed Gold requirements through sustained improvement, standardized processes and measurable environmental practices.
