The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has published a report on the 2024 implementation status of its 2024–2026 Financial Sector Development Strategy, setting out progress against the strategic activities defined in the strategy. As of 31 December 2024, the report covers actions delivered according to plan and identifies actions that were delayed. It also summarises key achievements by sector, outlines next steps, and provides analysis of indicators on quantitative potential measured at end-2024. The three-year strategy focuses on expanding financial inclusion, increasing the reach of financial services and diversifying financial instruments, improving sector efficiency, introducing corporate governance, and strengthening transparency and sustainability.
