The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Central Bank of Armenia, setting a framework to deepen bilateral collaboration across key central banking and supervisory functions. The agreement covers cooperation on monetary policy, payment systems, financial technologies, and project and data management including SupTech and RegTech, as well as supervision of banks and non-bank credit institutions. It also provides for professional dialogue through joint meetings, trainings, seminars and study visits, and establishes principles for information exchange with an emphasis on legality, effectiveness and confidentiality.
