The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority has launched a consultation on proposed revised Guidelines for the systematic exchange of information within Colleges of Supervisors, aiming to strengthen supervisory cooperation and promote a consistent approach among National Competent Authorities supervising cross-border insurance groups in the European Economic Area. The proposal builds on the 2015 framework by introducing a new Guideline on exchanging the group Own Risk and Solvency Assessment report, streamlining the technical annexes, and updating legal references to reflect recent regulatory changes. The Guidelines are addressed to national supervisors and are intended to supplement existing Guidelines on the operational functioning of colleges. Feedback is requested via an EU Survey by 14 October 2025, with responses to be published on EIOPA’s website unless respondents ask otherwise.
