The Central Bank of Peru published a comparative update indicating that Peru recorded the strongest performance among major regional economies in non-traditional exports. Non-traditional exports increased 16.4% in the 12-month period to October, exceeding Colombia (13.7%), Mexico (7.6%), Chile (4.7%) and Brazil (3.4%). On an average annual basis over the last five years, Peru also led with 10.5% growth versus Colombia (10.0%), Mexico (8.4%), Brazil (7.7%) and Chile (5.7%).

The Central Bank of Peru reported that Peru achieved the highest growth in non-traditional exports among major regional economies, with a 16.4% increase in the 12 months to October. Over the past five years, Peru also led with an average annual growth of 10.5%, surpassing Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile.
