The Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia took part in a ceremony at the Macedonian Banking Association recognizing the three best teams from the national European Money Quiz 2026 competition and their mentor. The event marked the students’ performance in the financial literacy contest, whose European final was held in Brussels on 19 May 2026 and was organized by the European Banking Federation. Representatives of the Macedonian Banking Association, the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Securities and Exchange Commission attended the ceremony, where students and their mentor received recognitions and special gifts. The awarded teams were Teodor Jovanov and Sofia Gudumanovski for third place, Iva Velkovska and Lana Stojevska for second place, and Daria Borizovska and Sara Milkovska for first place, all from SEPUS Vasil Antevski-Dren in Skopje and mentored by Professor Biljana Ninovska. The first-placed team represented the country at the European final in Brussels. The release also linked the event to the three institutions’ ongoing cooperation on promoting financial literacy among young people.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia participated in a ceremony organized by the Macedonian Banking Association to recognize the top three national teams and their mentor from the European Money Quiz 2026. The event highlighted the first-placed team’s participation in the European final in Brussels and underscored cooperation between the Commission, the National Bank and the Macedonian Banking Association to promote financial literacy among young people.
