The Bank of Finland has opened applications for a five-year term as a member of its Board, following the Parliamentary Supervisory Council’s initiation of the recruitment process. The term will begin on Feb. 1, 2027. Applicants must hold an appropriate higher university degree, understand monetary economics or financial operations, and have demonstrated management skills and experience. Financial markets and banking expertise will receive particular weight. Applications are due by noon on Sept. 9, 2026.
