The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) hosted a signing ceremony for an agreement on the development of a share margin trading system, signed with the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) and nine securities firms. The initiative sets up joint work to develop the system as part of efforts to support margin trading in Cambodia’s equity market. The participating securities firms are RHB Securities (Cambodia) Plc., Canadia Securities Co., Ltd., Acleda Securities Plc., Campu Securities Plc., Royal Group Securities Plc., Yuanta Securities (Cambodia) Plc., SBI Royal Securities Plc., Golden Fortune Securities PLC., and Cambodia Securities Plc. The agreement positions the project as intended to enhance market liquidity, stimulate trading activity, and modernize the Cambodia capital market.
