In remarks at the NextGen Tech 30 event, the Monetary Authority of Singapore outlined plans to improve access to private growth capital and public markets for companies scaling from Singapore. The Growth Capital Workgroup will develop concrete measures to support companies at different growth stages, broaden exit and capital recycling options, and deepen capabilities across the financing chain. The remarks also highlighted stronger Singapore Exchange activity, with 21 new listings raising $4.1 billion in financial year 2026 so far, compared with $25.7 million in the previous year. This follows the appointment of five additional managers under the Equities Market Development Programme, while the Global Listing Board developed with Nasdaq is intended to give eligible companies access to investors and capital in Singapore and the U.S.
