The Central Bank of Türkiye announced that E9 series, version VII banknotes in the denomination of TRY 20 will be put into circulation as of 22 October 2025, under the authorization granted by Law No. 1211. The only change from the existing E9 series TRY 20 banknotes is the rearrangement of signatures to include those of Governor Fatih Karahan and Deputy Governor Prof. Hatice Karahan. All other features, including dimensions, obverse and reverse compositions, and general appearance, remain the same, and the new version will circulate alongside previous versions.

Central Bank of Türkiye issues E9 series version VII TRY 20 banknotes with updated signatures
The Central Bank of Türkiye will circulate E9 series, version VII TRY 20 banknotes from 22 October 2025, authorized by Law No. 1211. The only change is the inclusion of signatures from Governor Fatih Karahan and Deputy Governor Prof. Hatice Karahan, with all other features unchanged. The new version will circulate alongside existing banknotes.
