The India International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Korea’s Financial Services Commission (FSC) to strengthen regulatory cooperation and support the development of the financial services ecosystem in both jurisdictions. The MoU was signed and exchanged at the Korea-India Financial Cooperation Forum in New Delhi, on the sidelines of the visit of the President of the Republic of Korea to India. The MoU is intended to facilitate cooperation and mutual assistance through the exchange of information and best practices, and includes sharing knowledge and expertise on the application of emerging technologies and innovations. It was signed by IFSCA Chairperson K. Rajaraman and, on the Korean side, by FSC Chairman Lee Eog-weon and Financial Supervisory Service Governor Lee Chanjin, and exchanged in the presence of senior government and industry representatives from both countries.
