The Bulgaria Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) entered MAY CAR INSURANCE BROKER Ltd in the register of insurance brokers, moved to expand Focal Point Investments AD’s investment intermediary licence, updated an EU cross-border services notification for Ever Financial AD, and removed a Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD bond issue and the issuer from the public companies and securities issuers register. For Focal Point Investments AD, the FSC expanded the scope of the existing licence to include investment activities and services under Article 6(2) items 3 and 6 and the additional service under Article 6(3) item 6 of the Markets in Financial Instruments Act, subject to the firm certifying within 14 days of receiving the notification that it has made an additional introductory contribution to the Investor Compensation Fund. For Ever Financial AD, the FSC sent notifications to the competent authorities in all European Union Member States reflecting changes to the data in its notification for the freedom to provide services without establishing a branch. The register removal relates to Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD’s EUR 600,000,000 bond issue (ISIN XS1839682116), issued in tranches in 2018, bearing a fixed annual coupon of 3.50% with annual interest payments and maturing on 28 June 2025.
