The Argentina Securities Commission reported that its President Roberto E. Silva and Vice President Sonia Salvatierra participated in the Argentine Economic Congress during the 13th Expo Argentina of Economy, Finance and Investments in Buenos Aires. In remarks at the event, Silva said the authority’s participation was part of its work on strengthening the institutional framework for the capital market and promoting greater coordination and integration between public and private sector participants. The congress also featured Argentina’s President Javier Milei, who spoke at the close, and Economy Minister Luis Caputo, who opened the event. Other speakers included Pablo Quirno, Federico Sturzenegger and Central Bank of the Argentine Republic President Santiago Bausili. Topics covered across the two-day event included finance, investment and productive development, with particular emphasis on energy, mining and agribusiness.
