Within services, financial and insurance activities increased 2.5%, while transportation fell 0.3%. Separate pipeline indicators remained stronger. The Domestic Supply Price Index rose 0.7% on the month and 13.2% on the year, led by a 2.1% rise in raw materials, while the Total Output Price Index increased 0.4% on the month and 17.6% on the year. The Bank of Korea noted that the indexes are preliminary and may be revised next month.
