The Moroccan Insurance Authority (ACAPS) has closed the first edition of its Emergence Program in Casablanca and published a report summarising the initiative’s outputs, which focused on promoting innovation and digital transformation in the insurance sector. Built on a participatory approach involving insurers, intermediaries, insurtechs and technology experts, the programme produced concrete use cases covering the modernisation of insurance product development, digitisation of underwriting, deployment of intelligent assistance tools, simplification of online distribution, and the pooling of health and auto claims management systems. The proposals target streamlined customer journeys, simpler exchanges between stakeholders and greater process transparency, while maintaining compliance and policyholder protection.
