The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) hosted lecturers and students from the Faculty of Economics at Srinakharinwirot University for a study visit aimed at strengthening understanding of the insurance system and the regulator’s role. The programme covered the OIC’s functions and responsibilities as the insurance regulator and promoter, the insurance sector’s transformation toward international connectivity led by the Center of InsurTech, Thailand, career pathways for actuaries presented by OIC actuarial staff, and the OIC’s approach to insurance dispute resolution. Students also visited the Virtual Insurance Museum, described as the first of its kind in Thailand.
