The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority published its annual report on alternative investment funds (AIFs), describing end-2024 developments in Norwegian AIF managers’ assets under management, investors and investment activity. Total assets under management for Norwegian AIF managers reached NOK 381.7bn at end-2024, up NOK 70bn from end-2023. Real estate funds and funds-of-funds were the largest fund types, with NOK 105bn and NOK 100bn respectively. The report is based on regulatory reporting and covers AIFs managed by managers established in Norway that are registered or authorised at year-end; managers and/or funds registered or authorised during the fourth quarter are not reporting-obliged and are therefore not included.
