The discussions focused on sectors where the two authorities' mandates intersect, including insurance, finance and financial literacy, and on developments in Egypt's and Russia's nonbank financial markets. Both sides also reviewed opportunities to expand coordination and exchange expertise in light of their countries' membership in BRICS and shared understandings within the group.
