Poland's Ministry of Finance received the Future of Payments 2026 award in the Market Breakthrough Event category for developing and implementing a cashless payment standard for e-invoices in the National e-Invoice System, known as KSeF. The standard connects electronic invoicing with digital payments and supports automation of the process from invoice issuance to payment. The standard establishes uniform market rules for generating payment links, embedding them in invoices using the KSeF structure and processing payments through payment gateways. It is designed to accelerate settlement, expand cashless payments, strengthen security and prevent errors and fraud.
