Mexico's National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services Users warned the public that 11 duly constituted financial institutions registered in SIPRES have notified it that third parties are impersonating them. The cases cover eight SOFOM, E.N.R. entities, two insurers and one bank. The affected institutions are Asociación Promujer de México, MS 2050, AIG Seguros México, JKL82, Niubbe, Madero Reserve, Elaworld (MexDin), Banco Inmobiliario Mexicano, Solvimás, Genworth Seguros de Crédito a la Vivienda and Finatul México. Separately, CONDUSEF said SCOR SE notified it of possible impersonation. SCOR SE is registered in the General Registry of Foreign Reinsurers for the 2026 period and is authorized to operate in Mexico as a representative office under registration number RGRE-501-98-320966. It does not offer direct insurance to the public in Mexico, and the National Insurance and Surety Commission has issued a public alert on possible impersonation of several institutions, including SCOR SE.
