The National Bank of Moldova reported that Governor Anca Dragu held an official meeting with Slovenia’s State Secretary for European Affairs, International Law, Protection of Interests and Economic Diplomacy, Neva Grašic, focused on strengthening financial cooperation and Moldova’s European integration agenda. The discussions covered strategic cooperation within international financial bodies, the reported success of Moldova’s accession to the Single Euro Payments Area, and progress in aligning banking legislation with European Union standards. The National Bank of Moldova also highlighted Slovenia’s support for the Center of Excellence in Finance in Ljubljana and noted its joint implementation with the Center of the #NBM LearnOrgLab initiative, backed by Slovenia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. The project is intended to strengthen the central bank’s institutional capacities, including professional skills development, participatory leadership and an organisational culture centred on learning, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
