The Central Bank of Jordan published preliminary data showing tourism income rose 7.0% in the first eleven months of 2025 to USD 7,160.2 million, while total worker remittances to Jordan increased 4.2% in the first ten months of 2025 to USD 3,725.5 million. November 2025 tourism income increased 12.6% year on year to USD 606.6 million. Tourism income growth over the first eleven months was attributed to a 14.7% increase in the number of tourists, with higher receipts from European (36.1%), Asian (34.3%), American (18.4%), Arab (3.6%), and other nationalities (33.4%), while income from Jordanian expatriates fell 0.8%. Overseas tourism spending rose 11.4% in November 2025 to USD 146.1 million and increased 5.5% over the first eleven months to USD 1,887.3 million. On remittances, outgoing transfers from Jordan increased 14.9% over the first ten months to USD 1,457.2 million; the United Arab Emirates accounted for 24.1% of incoming remittances (followed by the United States at 21.2% and Saudi Arabia at 20.7%), while Egypt was the main destination for outgoing remittances at 40.1%.
