The National Bank of Serbia clarified that Milena Tabaković has never been employed or engaged by the central bank and is not one of its advisers. It is investigating how she was identified as an adviser on the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Meetings participant platform and will seek a correction after establishing the facts. The official Serbian delegation to the Annual Meetings comprises Governor Jorgovanka Tabaković, Vice Governors Ana Ivković and Nikola Dragašević, and Bank Supervision Department General Manager Darko Stamenković. The central bank emphasized that the platform’s list of accredited participants is separate from the state delegation formally determined by the Serbian government. It also confirmed that the governor did not attend the Spring Meetings in April because developments in the interbank foreign exchange market required her to prioritize the relative stability of the dinar against the euro.
