The Union of Arab Securities Authorities (UASA) participated in AIM Congress 2025 in Abu Dhabi, with its Secretary-General joining the Heads of Stock Exchanges Roundtable. He highlighted how fragmented regulatory frameworks can affect cross-border investment and called for more robust regulatory systems and the development of secondary markets to improve liquidity and market efficiency. The three-day congress ran under the theme “World’s Leading Investment Platform” and drew over 20,000 participants, including ministers, central bank governors, officials, experts, and specialists. The programme included around 400 dialogue sessions, 13 high-level roundtables, and 23 side events organised in collaboration with international organisations and other entities.
