The Albania Financial Services Authority published the outcomes of its board meeting, approving an audit firm to audit the Authority’s 2024 financial statements and registering Banka Credins’ offering document for a bond issuance. The board also cleared a set of authorisations and governance decisions across insurers, insurance intermediaries and a securities depository. Approved actions include the reappointment of the administrator of Sigal Uniqa Group Austria and the reappointment of members of the board of administration of WVP – Insurance Intermediation, as well as the appointment of key personnel at the depository First Investment Bank. The board also approved the renewal of licences for insurance claims assessors and authorised the carrying out of insurance agent activity.
