HM Treasury has announced the reappointment of David Roberts as Chair of the Court of the Bank of England, alongside the reappointments of Dame Anne Glover and Diana Noble as non-executive directors. Roberts will serve a second four-year term as Chair of Court starting on 24 October 2026. Dame Anne Glover’s term as a non-executive director has been extended until 31 May 2028 and Diana Noble’s until 31 May 2027. The reappointments were made by the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Economic Secretary to the Treasury in line with the Governance Code on Public Appointments, and all three appointees confirmed they have not engaged in political activity in the last five years.
