The Central Bank of Colombia published External Regulatory Circular DOAM-143 on the Bank’s intervention in the foreign exchange market, noting that certain provisions will enter into force from 1 August 2025 under a Board of Directors resolution and that the circular’s text will be updated on that effective date, with the circular addressed to the Bank’s offices and branches, the Financial Superintendence of Colombia, the Colombia Stock Exchange, foreign exchange market intermediaries, the Ministry of Finance, the securities market self-regulator, foreign exchange clearing and settlement systems and central counterparty risk chambers.
