The Guernsey Financial Services Commission has notified businesses that details for JSC Solid Bank have been amended under the Russia sanctions regime. The bank remains designated and subject to an asset freeze under UK sanctions implemented in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Businesses must check for relationships with JSC Solid Bank and other designated persons, freeze relevant funds and economic resources immediately, and report findings to the Policy & Resources Committee. They must not make funds or economic resources available to designated persons, owned or controlled entities, or persons acting on their behalf, unless covered by a permitted derogation or licence. Firms that identify an affected relationship must also report to the Commission as soon as reasonably practicable after completing statutory reporting, including the relevant customer or connected party, the nature of the relationship or transaction, and the transaction or asset value.
