The Montenegro Capital Market Authority published details of a meeting between its president, Željko Drinčić, and Carmine Di Noia of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs, centred on possible deeper cooperation in financial literacy and investor education. The discussion focused on the authority’s education work, especially youth outreach, digital tools and efforts to improve public understanding of Montenegro’s capital market and financial system. Drinčić presented the authority’s Financial Education Development Programme 2023–2027 and related initiatives, including the Kapital educational board game, workshops for primary and secondary school students, digital educational content, and cooperation with educational institutions and international partners. The meeting also covered exchanges of experience and good practice, alignment with international standards in financial education and investor protection, and the potential for the authority to join wider OECD regional and international networks and projects. Drinčić also invited Di Noia to visit Montenegro and attend the fourth Montenegro Financial Markets conference.
