The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Yangi O‘zbekiston University to establish long-term cooperation in education and scientific research. The agreement covers joint research projects and co-authored academic publications, as well as joint scientific-practical and scientific-methodological conferences, forums and seminars. It also includes aligning bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral research in economics, mathematics and related fields with topics relevant to the Central Bank’s work, creating opportunities for student internships at the Central Bank, and commissioning specialised university training for Central Bank staff in research methods, data science, macroeconomics and microeconomics.
