Sweden's Riksbank appoints Hilkka Nyberg as Head of the Internal Audit Department

The Executive Board of Sweden's Riksbank has appointed Hilkka Nyberg as Head of the Internal Audit Department, confirming her in the role after she has served as acting head since November 2024. She is due to take up her duties on 8 May. Nyberg has experience in internal audit from roles at PwC, Telia and ICA Gruppen, and previously led internal audit functions at licensed institutions as Head of Internal Audit at Grant Thornton Sweden. She joined the Riksbank in 2023 as a senior risk analyst in the Risk Management Department before becoming acting head of internal audit.
