The Bank of France announced that it has been awarded the Label GEEIS AI Gender Equality European & International Standard trophy at the Artificial Intelligence Summit, recognising its commitment to responsible, inclusive and ethical artificial intelligence. On 10 February, First Deputy Governor Denis Beau received the trophy from Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet, France’s Minister of Labour and Employment. The Bank described its AI approach as “trust by design”, structured around four principles: pragmatism, sharing, multidisciplinary working and protection of uses. Following the award, it hosted a roundtable at its Innovation Lab with representatives from Arborus and Orange and Bank of France participants to discuss the GEEIS AI label and the promotion of more inclusive AI in technological innovation.
