UK Parliament's Treasury Committee has published a second update from Lloyds Banking Group on the IT glitch that affected nearly half a million customers. The submission adds, for the first time, that 80,805 other individuals may also have had their transactions shared because they were joint account holders of customers who logged in during the incident, even though they did not log in themselves. Lloyds reported a further GBP 62,000 of goodwill payments to 1,625 customers, taking total payments to GBP 201,000 across 5,250 people. The bank also made minor downward revisions to the total number of affected customers who logged on and the number who clicked through to view other people's transactions. The update follows an initial assessment Lloyds sent to MPs in March 2026.
