The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has launched an investor awareness campaign on All India Radio focused on securities market frauds carried out through social media platforms. The campaign aims to caution investors on how to protect themselves, curb fraudulent activity on these platforms, and protect investor interests. SEBI highlighted investor losses from stock trading fraud circulating via platforms and channels including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, X, Telegram, and app stores such as Google Play Store and Apple Store. The inaugural session, delivered by SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey, is scheduled to air on 15 August 2025 across 201 All India Radio primary/local stations, 29 FM Rainbow stations, four FM Gold stations, and 42 stations on the Vividh Bharati network; for Mumbai, broadcast slots are 10:45 am to 11:00 am on primary/local and FM Rainbow/FM Gold, and 7:45 pm to 8:00 pm on Vividh Bharati.
