The Central Bank of Paraguay, in coordination with the National Institute of Statistics, is conducting Special Economic Studies to update the measurement of Paraguay’s economy. The work forms part of a project to change the base year and implement national accounts by institutional sector, reflecting recent changes in production, technology and trade. Companies and other economic organizations are being asked to provide information to improve the quality, coverage and representativeness of economic statistics. The data will be used exclusively for statistical purposes and protected under applicable confidentiality and statistical secrecy requirements.
