Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has opened participation for Phase 2 (2026) of the Thai Capital Market: United in Empowering Communities with Knowledge project, inviting capital market and digital asset market operators, associations, professional clubs and financial and investment “finfluencers” to join a coordinated financial literacy push and associated recognition programme. Participants must submit a financial and investment Knowledge Promotion Plan covering enhanced activities continuing from 2025, initiatives being run in 2026, or plans scheduled from 2027 onward. Educational content disseminated under the initiative must not primarily aim to sell financial products and must comply with the SEC’s seven core competency areas. Eligible participants can receive SEC recognition and an emblem for publicity, amplification through SEC and partner communication channels, and opportunities to contribute as guest speakers in SEC educational media, with longer-term collaboration opportunities. The 2026 awards are grouped into six types, including Public Favorite, Sustainability and Creativity awards, plus categories for accumulated performance across 2024 to 2027 and for associations and finfluencers. The SEC also set out a pathway to “Role Model Organization” recognition in 2027 for participants that accumulate awards across the three main award categories over 2024 to 2027. Expressions of interest are open until 31 May 2026, and a complete Knowledge Promotion Plan must be submitted via the SEC’s online form by 15 August 2026. The SEC indicated that further details on additional award categories and evaluation criteria will be announced later.
