Viriyah Insurance paid THB 600,000 across the six families, Thanachart Insurance paid THB 100,000 under an accident policy for one victim, and Prudential Life Assurance Thailand paid THB 603,169 under a group credit protection policy for one victim. The commission will coordinate with relevant agencies to support the use of insurance as a mechanism for managing societal risks.
