The Coordination Committee for Angola’s National Financial Inclusion Strategy (CCENIF) has opened a public consultation on the draft National Financial Inclusion Strategy (ENIF), with the proposal available from 31 March to 30 April 2025 on the Government Portal, the Public Consultation Portal, and the websites of the National Bank of Angola, the Angola Capital Markets Commission, and the Insurance and Pension Funds Regulatory Agency (ARSEG). The ENIF is presented as a policy instrument setting guidelines to increase banking penetration and financial inclusion for individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises, focusing on savings, financing the economy, and expanding financial and digital services to support economic activity and improve welfare. Preparation of the draft ENIF was supported technically and methodologically by the World Bank and involved collaboration from public and private bodies, financial institutions, and social partners. Stakeholders are invited to submit contributions during the consultation window.
