The Bank of Italy has opened a call for papers for the 6th conference on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Economics, Finance, and Central Banking”, co-organised with the Bank of Canada, Bank of England, Bank of Spain, Banque de France and the European Central Bank. The conference will be hosted by the Banque de France in Paris on 17 November 2025, with paper submissions open until 30 April 2025. Priority research areas include diversity and inclusivity at central banks and their links to research and decision-making, demographic biases affecting households’ and firms’ financial decisions and the effectiveness of monetary policy, monetary policy implications for income, wealth and consumption inequality, and heterogeneous effects of inflation and other macroeconomic shocks across demographic groups.
