The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan reported that its First Deputy Chairman, Firuz Sharifzoda, took part in a high-level forum on asset management and international reserves held in Washington, D.C. on 20–21 April 2026 under the World Bank Group’s Reserve Advisory and Management Partnership (RAMP). The annual forum brings together senior representatives from central banks, sovereign wealth funds, international financial institutions and related bodies. Discussions covered the macroeconomic outlook amid global market uncertainty, management of sovereign assets in crisis conditions, strategic asset allocation, assessment of potential risks, and the use of digital technologies in international reserve management. The National Bank framed the participation as supporting the adoption of international practices to strengthen Tajikistan’s reserve management processes and deepen cooperation with international partners.
