The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has commenced criminal proceedings in the Eastern Magistrates’ Court against Mr Lin Tai Fung and Mr Or Chun Nin for alleged conspiracy to commit false trading in the shares of Pa Shun International Holdings Limited between 9 April 2017 and 7 March 2018. Lin also faces charges for allegedly failing to notify The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited of changes in his interest in Pa Shun shares on eight occasions between 2 June 2017 and 14 March 2018. No plea was taken and the case was adjourned to 20 March 2025 for mention after the defendants applied for time to obtain legal advice. Bail was granted to each defendant on conditions including HKD 20,000 cash bail and a HKD 50,000 surety.

Lin is also charged with failing to notify the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong of changes in his share interest. The case is adjourned to 20 March 2025, with bail set at HKD 20,000 cash and a HKD 50,000 surety.
