Cuba’s Official Gazette has published Decree-Law 115/2025 on Financial Education, which establishes the Central Bank of Cuba (BCC) as the authority responsible for promoting financial inclusion and financial education, alongside protecting the rights of financial services customers. The decree-law also предусматривает coordination between the BCC and other competent bodies in these areas. The accompanying note presents financial education as a tool to raise citizens’ economic culture, support more efficient use of resources across institutions, and equip people to make informed economic decisions.
