Angola's Ministry of Finance, via the Institute for the Management of State Assets (IGAPE), has presented SEP360º, an integrated digital platform in the final stage of development designed to automate the collection, analysis and monitoring of data from public companies and other entities in the Public Enterprise Sector (SEP). The system is intended to reduce reliance on manual processes, fragmented information and dispersed reporting that have constrained the State’s shareholder oversight. SEP360º uses artificial intelligence and robotic process automation to enable entities to submit management reports and financial data through a single digital ecosystem, with automatic validation and real-time monitoring. The platform is intended to cross-check data, identify inconsistencies, issue risk alerts, generate aggregated reporting and support faster technical opinions, with more than 1,000 data fields processed automatically; an internal portal will provide IGAPE staff and supervised bodies access to consolidated SEP information, Power BI analytical dashboards, and tracking of report and opinion workflows.
