The Vietnam State Securities Commission's Research and Securities Training Center has opened enrollment for a two-day corporate governance certification course to be held in Hanoi on Aug. 13-14, 2026. The program is aimed at board members, management board members, supervisory board or audit committee members, company secretaries, corporate governance officers, disclosure officers and other interested individuals. The course will cover general corporate governance knowledge, international standards and practices, and Vietnam's current corporate governance legal framework. That includes updates under Decree 245/2025/ND-CP amending Decree 155/2020/ND-CP and the 2026 Vietnam Corporate Governance Code for public companies. Instruction will be provided by senior officials from the commission's specialist units, including public company supervision, securities market development and securities offering management, as well as leadership from the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation. Tuition is VND 3.5 million per participant, including materials, the certificate and related costs.
