The Bank of Uganda issued a public notice stating that the liquidation of National Bank of Commerce Limited is nearing conclusion. The central bank said it will hold a stakeholders’ meeting for all shareholders and creditors to provide an update on the status of the liquidation. National Bank of Commerce Limited was placed under liquidation on 12 September 2012 under the Financial Institutions Act, Cap 57 Laws of Uganda. Shareholders and creditors have been asked to confirm their attendance by 29 May 2026, with the venue and time of the meeting to be communicated later.
