The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a workshop on the architecture of the securities market for staff of the Public Finance Information and Communication Technologies Service. The session was presented as part of the commission’s mandate to develop and promote the capital market and aimed to strengthen understanding of how the market works, its opportunities and its benefits. The workshop covered the commission’s role and responsibilities as capital markets regulator and supervisor, the main financial instruments available for investment, different investor risk profiles, and core considerations for making informed investment decisions. It also included an interactive question-and-answer segment. The event was organized by the Department of Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication as part of the commission’s broader awareness and capacity-building activities for public and private institutions.
