The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority welcomed David Bradbury as he began a five-year term as deputy chair, with responsibility for overseeing APRA’s work in superannuation. His arrival completes the regulator’s new Executive Board following the Treasurer’s July announcement appointing Bradbury and Therese McCarthy Hockey as deputy chairs. McCarthy Hockey will continue to oversee banking, while APRA Member Suzanne Smith will retain responsibility for general, life and private health insurance.
