The Central Bank of Ireland has issued a warning that Lambestone Holding Limited, identified as a clone firm, is not authorised in Ireland to operate as an investment firm, investment business firm or crypto-asset service provider. The notice links the entity to websites including lambestoneholding.com, secured.lambestoneholding.com and lambestone.com/en. The Central Bank said the scam firm cloned the name, address and Companies Registration Office number of a registered CRO company to create an appearance of legitimacy. It stated that the legitimate CRO company has no connection whatsoever with the scam entity. The warning was published under Section 53 of the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013.
