Greece’s Ministry of National Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family announced that 2 June 2026 will be the final date for signing loan agreements under the My Home II programme. Beneficiaries who have signed the relevant loan contracts by 2 June 2026 will not be affected by the introduction of the deadline. The deadline is intended to finalise the programme’s quantified final milestone to enable approval of the revision of Greece’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, following agreement with the European Commission, and to support the timely and accurate submission of the final loan payment request. Deputy Minister Nikos Papathanasis has written to the heads of participating banks to notify them of the deadline and to request timely completion of the required processes; official figures show 13,461 loans approved totalling EUR 1.617bn, with an average loan size of EUR 120.15k and 84.1% of the total budget absorbed.
